Model CDS-10 Shown, Others available Disinfect and sanitize rooms and surfaces much more efficiently than traditional methods The CATEC Ozone Fogging System disinfects, sanitizes and deodorizes air and surfaces in rooms by blowing a mist / fog of ozone laden water into the space to be treated. This provides more thorough sanitizing with much less cost associated with chemicals and man hours. Simply place the nozzle in the space to be treated, turn the unit on, adjust the mist / fog jet to the desired level. The mist / fog is also capable of sanitizing nooks and crannies where traditional methods are unable to reach. Because it is killing the bacteria, odors will be eliminated too. The system operates on standard wall power and is as easy to use and maintain as a typical vacuum cleaner. CATEC will provide recommended time and mist / fog density for spaces to be sanitized. The system may leave a light mist on surfaces which will quickly evaporate away. While the system only sanitizes surfaces the mist / fog comes in contact with, materials which may be a source for bacteria should be removed prior to use. The mist / fog density is controlled with a mixing adjustment on the side of the fogging nozzle. This mist has the capability of oxidizing and rendering inert, airborne chemicals such as Hydrogen Sulfide, Ammonia, Nitrous Oxides and other chemicals that are harmful and/or irritating to breathe. In addition the mist will destroy both airborne and surface bacteria and viruses upon contact. Applications for this technology:
Because the oxidation properties take place in the mist, capture of airborne chemicals, bacteria, and viruses is much more efficient than that of using ozone gas only, and no harmful odors or chemical by-products are created. The mist is not harmful or detrimental to human or animal breathing, so the misting application can take place in inhabited areas without harm. And again, the mist does leave some moisture on exposed surfaces, so applications must be limited to areas where a small amount of moisture can be tolerated.
