Reclaim Systems For Hand Washes Many car dealerships, detail centers and hand-washes are now required to capture and reuse their wash water. As well, they may also be restricted on discharge from their washing operations, or even no discharge at all. CATEC offers several solutions for these type washes. Below is our model CWR-15 which is very common for these type washes. The system offers all the features and benefits of it's big brother's in a smaller, more economical package. The CWR-15 Reclaim system is designed to process wastewater and deliver it back to the wash equipment for the washing cycles. Whether using hoses or pressure washers (or both), this proven system has a great track record. The systems may be installed with in-ground or above-ground tanks. Above ground installations are great when the site is leased as it allows the owner to easily move the system if he chooses to move his site to a new location. A wash mat may also be an attractive alternative to pouring a concrete wash pad. Again, this lends itself well to portability. Wash mats are available in any size and several different materials, depending on factors such as wash loads and types of vehicles being washed. The U.S. Army actually uses these industrial wash pads in Iraq for washing tanks, Hum-vee's and other military vehicles.
Process tanks can be either above or below ground. Below is a CWR-15 installed with above-ground tanks. This is a county installation in where they wash police cars, ambulance's, fire trucks and other county fleet vehicles. If below grade tanks are desired, they are typically acquired from a local septic tank supplier. CATEC will make size and configuration recommendations for each project.
Considerations for above ground installations must be taken into account. Freezing is the biggest concern. Space is another.
